Physician Assistant Careers
Red Oaks Medical Group has the liberty to hire Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants for a variety of roles. They can act as Primary Care Providers (Pediatrics, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine) with their own patient panels under Physician Supervision where they manage chronic and acute illnesses and perform a variety of preventative health exams. Another option is in our Acute Care Walk-In Clinic where the clinicians see minor illness and injuries. Skills for this department require minor suturing and splinting and Xray interpretation. Our Occupational Health agreements filter through the Walk-in for pre-employment physicals and DMV/DOT physicals, and on the job injuries that are then followed up by the Occupational Health Physician. In the Acute Care environment our clinicians need to be comfortable with all ages. We also have opportunities for our Allied Health Professionals to function in Women’s Health (exclusive of Pre-natal Care in Lassen Medical Clinics) and in our Diabetes Success Team with Diabetes education. Our Allied Health providers benefit from a collaborative environment with multi-specialty Physician Red Oaks Medical Group consultations and quarterly meetings which include educational components.
