Medical Assistants are a vital part of our Health Care Team. As a Medical Assistant in Lassen Medical Clinic you will work side by side with the best providers in the area! Medical Assistants are responsible for rooming patients, gathering medical history, reconciling medications, taking vitals, professional documentation, assisting with referrals, as well as, proactively anticipating Physician’s and Midlevel needs in a fast paced environment. Our Medical Assistants need to have attention to detail, follow through and a positive attitude. Medical Assistants work directly with patients in order to ensure they receive the appropriate referrals. They often interface with local Pharmacies to troubleshoot any medication refill challenges that patients and providers face. Lassen Medical Clinic has Internal Medicine, Family Practice, Pediatrics, Dermatology, E.N.T. and Acute Care Walk in suites. We are a large clinic that will allow you to learn a number of different areas in healthcare, as we often cross train in order to promote teamwork and cover time off requests.
